8 days Uganda Super exclusive Safari

8 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park & Bwindi Forest National Park tour is a weeks-long Uganda Safari tour that takes you to 3 of the best national parks in Uganda for wildlife, primates and Gorilla tour.

This trip specifically includes the well known national parks of Western Uganda: Bwindi National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park as well as Kibale forest National Park.

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda-the pearl of Africa!


The drive to your accommodation is about an hour. Along the way you will catch a glimpse of the shimmering waters of Lake Victoria on your right, see several matatus and boda bodas (local 4-wheel and 2-wheel taxis) weave daringly through traffic, smartly dressed residents in colorful fabrics negotiating the pot-holed streets, food stalls serving delicious Rolex and wooden carts heavily laden with our favorite staple food, the Matoke (PLANTAIN).

Day 2: Drive to Kabale destination Lake Bunyonyi


This morning after your morning breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide will be ready to drive you to Bwindi impenetrable national park you will depart from your hotel and head to the western part of Uganda, you will have a first stop at the equator and you will have lunch in Mbarara district at a restaurant called Igongo cultural center, after lunch you will proceed to lake Bunyonyi, where you will have a boat ride, hike and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park for Gorilla Trekking


Today is best day ever, early this morning your driver guide will pick you up at 5:30am from the lodge and transfer you to the Rushaga bwindi briefing point. You start your gorilla trek at around 8 am. On arrival at the briefing place, you will be welcomed and given seats until time of briefing as your driver guide registers you with the ranger on duty to be allocated for a gorilla family. You will eventually meet your ranger guide and start your gorilla trek in the jungles of Bwindi. We advise you to hire a porter to carry your day pack because sometimes the gorillas could be located a distance far from the start of your trek, they can also help push or pull you along the steep slippery paths in the forest.
After Gorilla trekking your driver guide will drive you back to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 4: Drive from Bwindi Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park


This morning after breakfast your driver guide will drive you to Ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth national park with picnic lunch. As soon as you arrive to the park you will start a game drive to look out for Topis, elephants, tree climbing lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kob antelope. You will have a full day game drive, and you will have you picnic lunch at the hippo pool camp site. After the game drive your driver guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Park Game Drive & Boat Safari


This morning you will have hot breakfast, and your driver guide will take you for a game drive at Kasenyi area to look for mammals like lions, Elephants, Kobs, waterbucks , lots of bird life and a tour to the salt crater lake, have lunch and later go for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel to see schools of hippopotamus, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants, after the boat cruise you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive From Queen Elizabeth to Kibale Forest National park


This morning you will have hot breakfast, after breakfast, you will check out of Bush lodge and say good bye to Queen Elizabeth National Park, head to Kibale National Park, the home to Chimpanzees.

Do you Kibale Forest National Park?

Kibale is famously known for Chimpanzee tracking with it’s northern tip standing at 1,590m above sea level. The lowest point is 1,100m on the floor of the Albertine Rift Valley to the south. With 351 tree species have been recorded in the park, some rise to over 55m high and are over 200 years old. Kibale’s varied altitude supports different types of habitat, ranging from wet tropical forest on the Fort Portal plateau to woodland and savanna on the rift valley floor.

Kibale is one of Africa’s foremost research sites. While many researchers focus on the chimpanzees and other primates found in the park, others are investigating Kibale’s ecosystems, wild pigs and fish species, among others Kibale National Park contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. Forest cover, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. The park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park


This morning you will wakeup, have breakfast. After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to Kanyanchu visitors center, here you will be briefed about Kibale forest and chimpanzee trekking, later you will be allocated the family of chimpanzee community and then the ranger guide will lead you into the forest on the trek in search of this great apes. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest. In the afternoon you will explore the Bigodi village community. You have opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and will be of great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience, banana beer making, basket making and visit the traditional healer.

Day 8: Drive back to Kampala- Entebbe


This morning after the canopy breakfast, you will pack your luggage and check out of Primates Lodge-Kibale.
Drive with a stopover for Amabere Ganyina Mwiru cultural Experience. The day ends back in Entebbe for your outbound flight or even extend with a day to experience night life i Kampala
